SPECIFICATION
REPLACING THE HEATING ELEMENT
Theheatingelementcanbereplacedasfollows:
1. Followthestepsin“disassemblingthesolderingiron”.
2. Unsolder the heating element wires (RED) and the sensor wires
(blueand/orwhite).
3. Theoldheatingelementcannowbedetachedfromthehandpiece
board.
4. Detach the metal protector located at the bottom part of the
heatingelement.(936only)
5. Reattach the metal protector to the bottom part of the new
heatingelement.(936only)
6. PasstheNewheatingelementswires(RED)thrutheholeslocated
ontopoftheboard.
7. Solder the heating element’s wires and the sensor wires to the
boardmatchwiththesamecoloredwires(redwiretoredwireon
board,bluewirewithbl uewireonboardetc.)
For936A:

The 5 pin socket can be tested to detect faults in the
handpiece:

reviewthestepsin“replacingtheheatingelement”toensureproper

Warning: Ensure none of the above mentioned conditions are
present before plugging in the hand piece. Failure to do so can
damage the internal circuitry of the unit.
