Easy-Fit Drain

Shower Easy-Fit Drain (EFD) conveniently allows shower remodeling to do away

with messy and expensive subfloor drainpipe replumbing or concrete slab breaking

and cutting. EFD connects mispositioned drain hole of the shower base to the

existing floor drain with an 1-1/4” drainpipe (not included) horizontally under the

shower base but above the room floor.

EFD includes: drain flange, drain body elbow, strainer, drain cover, rubber gasket,

45 degree coupling

EFD Installation Procedure:

1. Peel the protective plastic films and clean the area around the drain hole in

the shower base especially the plastic burns around the edge from the

cutting.

2. Apply silicone sealant round the edge and screw the flange from the top of

the base to the elbow on the bottom.

3. Connect 45 degree coupling to the drain elbow with only a black rubber seal washer. 4. Connect either an 1-1/4” hard PVC pipe or an 1-1/4” flexible PVC pipe of appropriate length to the floor drain to the coupling. Neither hard PVC pipe nor flexible PVC pipe are provided. The brand name of the flexible PVC pipe is called EZ Flo. Make sure to put slip nut, red washer, and rubber seal washer in sequence to the pipe first, then tighten the slip nut. 5.
