DINGEWOOD SHIPPING & HANDING
SHIPPING
Ø Products are made in and ship from UTAH.
Ø Dingewood ships via LTL carrier.
HANDLING
Ø All wood orders are packaged for forklift loading and unloading. Small orders come in
boxes (5< packs) via UPS. Large come on pallets via LTL Freight.
Ø Upon receipt, any shipping damage must be noted on the bill of lading and reported
immediately to the delivering carrier and to DINGEWOOD at sales@dingewood.com. !
Ø Wood must be stored flat on a level surface in a dry, well ventilated building at least 4”
above the ground and covered to avoid direct sunlight, as well as moisture, dirt and dust.
Ø Wood, especially doors, must not be subject to extreme or rapid changes in heat or
humidity, including, without limitation, sudden changes resulting from forced heat used to
dry out a building. !
DAMAGES
Ø Please do not allow the carrier to leave until goods are inspected. Upon receipt, any
shipping damage must be noted on the bill of lading and reported immediately reported
to the delivering carrier.
Ø Next, report damages to DINGEWOOD. Email order number, photos,
and sales@dingewood.com with photos of damaged items for prompt assistance and
we can file a claim with the LTL carrier on your behalf.
Ø Claims must be filed within 3 days of order receipt.
