Ob-3 is a simplied DMX operating mode where three DMX channels only need to set the brightness of
the 3 basic colours (red, green and blue).
b) DMX mode and Ob-3 mode
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identied by the controller.
This DMX starting address species the rst DMX channel to which the effect light responds. The remaining control
channels come after this rst DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires either 15 or 3 (Ob-3 operation) free DMX channels depending on DMX operating
mode.
Setting the DMX start address for the DMX operating mode
Set the desired DMX starting address in menu A001 (A001 - A512) when you want to use the device in 15-channel
DMX mode.
Set Ob-3 in the menu if you want to use the device in simplied Ob-3 mode.
