For optimum results, condition material to 65°F to 85°F (18°C to 29°C) at least 24 hours prior to use.
Caution! This product when cured may be slippery when wet.
Never mix with any form of liquid or solvent. Improper thinning may cause sealer to delaminate in a short time frame.
Before handling, consult the Safety Data Sheet and Container Labels for physical and health hazard information.
Do not allow products to freeze in storage or during application.
It is not recommended to apply Pre-Tect RTS Antifungal Coating over other types of sealers, paints or coatings.
Minimum surface and ambient temperature of 45°F (7°C) and rising at the time of application.
Test in an inconspicuous area prior to use.
Dried or cured product may be removed using sanding, or diamond grinding method. Solvent not reccomended.
Shelf Life
This product has a shelf life of up to one year in its original, sealed, unopened container. If product appears to be hardened or
separated contact NxTech before use. Store in a cool dry area.
Directions for Use
Surface Preparation: Surfaces to be treated must be dry, structurally sound, free of loose or deteriorated concrete and free of dust,
dirt, paint, efflorescence, oil and all other contaminants. If stains are visible from mold or mildew, clean surfaces with NxT-30
Surface Cleaner and Stain Remover. Insure that all areas are dry before application. Moisture content of wood must be below
18%. Treated areas must be protected from direct exposure to water or moisture. Cover any areas or materials that are not to be
treated.
Clean-up
Immediately after use, Clean tools and equipment with soap and water before the material hardens. Dispose of containers in
accordance with local and federal regulations.
Precautions/Limitations
Mixing: Pre-Tect RTS Antifungal Coating come Ready to Spray. However, mixing is required prior to use. Pour Pre-Tect RTS in an
appropriate size container and mix with well with a hand paddle or electronic mixer and mix 1 to 2 minutes or longer if larger
quantities are used until product is uniform. Let the mixed product rest until all foam and bubbles have dissipated (Approximately 5
min.). After resting, use product immediately. If mixing multiple containers, do not mix more than can be placed in 24 hours. Do not
add water or mix with any other components not specified.
Placement: Prior to placement, always test the product on the surface to be treated in an inconspicuous area to ensure proper
adherence and satisfactory appearance. Using a brush, roller or an appropriate pump sprayer with a minimum flow rate of .5gal/min,
apply a thin uniform layer of Pre-Tect RTS Antifungal Coating in manageable coverage areas before moving to the next. Product
goes on with a clear to slight white color but will dry clear. Avoid excessive build up. To remove excessive build up, immediately back
roll with light pressure using a medium nap roller after spraying. A second coat is recommended using the same application method.
Wait a minimum of 1 hour between coats.
Curing: Do not touch treated surface during curing. Do not add water or allow water to come in contact while curing. Protect surface
from debris coming in contact with surface while drying. Allow to dry completely for approximately 24 hours before allowing activity on
the treated surface.
