Manual

Distribution Board Components
1 5V, 9V and 12V LED Indicator - When illuminated, the LED indicates the presence of the
corresponding voltage in the satellite’s circuitry.
2 GND, 12V, 9V and 5V Sources - Voltage source pins provide terminals for monitoring the
satellite’s internal voltages with the use of a digital multi-meter or an oscilloscope.
3 Timing Mechanism Cable Socket - VP Timing Mechanism data cable connection socket.
4 Data Cable Socket - (For future use.)
5 Power Source Socket - 15 VAC input power cable from the satellite’s transformer.
6 RS-232 Data Socket - The RS-232 Data connector enables the satellite to interface with a laptop
or Hand-Held PC.
Output Board Components
1 Output Board LED Indicator - When
illuminated, the LED indicates that power is present at
the output board.
2 Station LED Indicator - When illuminated,
the LED indicates that the corresponding station
output has been activated.
3 Output Board Fuse - Each output board
is equipped with a 3A fuse. Placing individual fuse
to each board enables the satellite to bypass any
shorted output board and continue operation to the
remaining output boards.
4 Fuse LED Indicator - When illuminated, the
LED indicates that the fuse is functional.
5 Standard Station terminal Connector
- If no additional surge protection is needed, the
standard station terminal connector is sufficient for
station connection.
6 Surge Output Board - The surge output
board is used in lightning prone areas where
additional surge protection is needed. The Surge
Output board also allows the user to manually
activate or deactivate any station with a switch.
