RefertotheoperationMODEtablesbelowtovisualizehowtheswitchessequenceonandoffduring
MRSoperation.
a. Turnonthetransmitterandreceiver.
b. SetthedialswitchontheMRStothedesiredoperatingmode(1‐9).
c. AlloftheLEDswill
flashtwiceandthentheMRSwilldisplaytheswitchingsequenceforall7
switchesbyturningonandoffthe7LED’sinthecombinationsshownintheMODEtables.
i. DuringthisdisplaysequencetheMRSswitcheswillnotacceptinputoractuateanydevices.
d. Afterthe
sequencefinishestheswitchwillautomaticallygointotheinitial(0)sequenceofthe
selectedMODE(allswitchesoff).
e. Eachstickcycle(ON/OFF/ON)ofthecontrollingchannelwilladvancetheMRStothenext
sequenceinthecorrespondingMODEtable.
i. ThelitgreenLEDlights(Figure1—D)
indicatewhichofthecorrespondingswitchesareon.
ii. Stickcycles(ON/OFF/ON)thattakelongerthan.5secarereadasafalsesignalandare
ignored.
iii. Subsequentstickcycles(ON/OFF/ON)thatoccurtooquickly(<1sec)afterapreviouscycle
arereadasafalsesignalandare
ignored.
iv. Incompletestickcycle(ON/OFForOFF/ON)arereadasafalsesignalandareignored.
v. TheMRSwillrepeattheMODEtablesequenceswhenallofthesequenceshavebeencycled
through.

MODEDescription:
a. Modes1‐5aredesignedforapplicationsthatrequireamomentarypowerpulse(e.g.,rocket
launchers,bombdrops).
i. Inmodes1‐5theMRSonlyturnsoneachswitchfor0.5secondsandthenturnsitoff.
ii. ThisprotectstheMRSfromdamagefromapossible
shortandprotectstheba tteryfromover
discharging.
b. Modes6‐9aredesignedforpersistentpower‐onapplications(e.g.,lighting,sequencingactions).
i. EachactivatedswitchstaysonuntiltheMRSadvancestothenextsequence.
ii. ThelitgreenLEDlights(Figure1—D)indicatethatthecorresponding
switchison.
5. MRSOperation:
a. ConnecttheMRSservoleadtoyourreceiver.
b. SelectthedesiredMODEontheMRS(Figure1—B).
c. Hookupthedevice(s)tobepoweredtothedesiredswitchoutputs(Figure1—F).
d. Poweronthetransmitterandreceiver.
e.
Connectexternalpower(battery)totheMRS(Figure1‐G).
i. Observethepolarityofeachswitchset,redispositiv e and blackisnegative.
ii. Besurethecontrolleddevicesandthebatteryareconnectedcorrectly;especiallywhenthe
controlleddevicesarepolaritysensitive.
f. TheredpowerconnectedLED(Figure1—E)willindicateexternalpowerison.
g.
Cyclingthecontrollingchannel(ON/OFF/ONwithin.5sec.)willnowadvancetheMODE
sequenceandturnON/OFFthecorrespondingswitches.
