If the battery casing is dismantled,small amounts of electrolyte may leak. Collect all released material in a plastic
lined container. Dispose off according to the local law and rules. Avoid leached substances to get into the earth,
canalizationorwaters.

7. Handlingandstorage
(a)Precautionsforsafehandling
Alwaysfollow thewarning info rmationonthebatteriesandin themanualsofdevices. Only use therecommended
batterytypes. Keep batteries away from chi ldren. For devices to be usedby ch ildren,the batterycasingshould be
protected against unauthorized access. Unpacked batteries shall not lie about in bulk. In
case of battery change
alwaysreplaceallbatteriesbynewonesofidenticaltypeandbrand.Donotswallowbatteries.Donotthrowbatteries
intowater.Donotthrowbatteriesintofire.Avoiddeepdischarge.Donotshort circuitbatteries Userecommended
chargingtimeandcurrent.
(b)Conditionsforsafestorage,
includinganyincompatibilities
Ifthebatteryissubjecttostorage forsuch alongtermasmorethan3months,itisrecommendedto rechargethe
batteryperiodically. Andrecommendedat‐5~45 for1monthstorage,at‐5~35 for 3 monthsstorage.Do
notstoragethebattery
haphazardlyinaboxordrawerwheretheymayshortcircuiteachotherorbeshortcircuited
byothermetalobjects.Keepoutofreachofchildren.

