The Lynx Smart Satellite Sensor (LSSS) Kit receives data
from ow, temperature, and pressure sensors, as well as
switches and rain buckets. The data is stored in the satellite
and relayed to the Lynx computer. User-dened alarms
and responses can be congured in Lynx when operating
in Central Mode, or locally when in Local Mode.
• Sensor data is stored in the satellite for 12 hours and
transmitted back to Lynx every 2 hours.
• Current sensor information and alarm status can be
viewed in the satellite’s faceplate.
• Central-based or stand-alone alarm responses can be
congured for any sensor input.
• When alarms are congured, Lynx will monitor the
sensor-kit equipped satellite at the polling interval. The
Sensor Dashboard Utility will monitor sensor status
every 15 seconds.
A handful of satellites will need a rmware update
to take advantage of the Lynx Smart Satellite Sensor
Kit. Please see p. 7 for rmware version instructions.
