Lithium Battery Replacement Procedure
WARNING! DANGER OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY.
REPLACE ONLY WITH THE SAME OR EQUIVALENT TYPE OF BATTERY. ALWAYS DISPOSE

A 3.0V Lithium battery (P/N 363-8154) is installed behind the faceplate circuit board to sustain the controller’s time
and date for approximately 10 years without any additional power.
1. Place the controller’s power switch to the OFF position.
2. Remove the faceplate from the cabinet by unscrewing the two retaining screws that secure it. See first figure
below.
3. Disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the faceplate to the distribution board.
4. Remove the back cover from the faceplate by unscrewing the four retaining screws. See second figure below.
5. Remove the PCB to access the battery compartment by unscrewing the center retaining screw.
6. Replace the old Lithium battery and secure a new battery.
7. Reattach the circuit board and ribbon cable into the faceplate. Replace the back cover.
8. Reinstall the faceplate into the controller and place the power switch to the ON position.
