Use and care manual for the DTA Cap Lippage System
The Cap Lippage System comprises of 3 parts; cap, spacer
and gun. The spacer is placed under the tile with the cap
securing to the spacer, using the gun to tighten. The
pressure applied between the cap and the spacer provides
a lip free finish. This system is ideal for both walls and
floors.
Install Instructions;
1. Determine your width of your joint grout line and use
the appropriate size spacer.
2. Place the spacer under the tile Place your spacers
under the tile.
3. Be sure to use the lippage on all the corners and
more along the sides of the tile for larger pieces.
However, be at least 4 inches away from the corner.
4. Slide the cap into the spacer.
5. Tighten with wedge lippage tool.
6. Once the thin set has dried remove with a mallet or
kick off with foot.
7. Reuse the cap over and over again. Spacers are a
single use item.
