Intended Use The Klutch Heavy-Duty Auto Rewind Air Hose Reel automatically rewinds hoses without kinks. Its speed control device keeps the reel under control at all times. The newly designed swivel and hose inlet connection seal against leaks. The durable construction, made from high quality, impact resistant polypropylene, makes it light-weight and compact. Do not allow the hose reel to come into contact with an electrical source. The tool is not insulated and contact will cause electrical shock. Specific Operation Warnings ⚠WARNING To prevent serious injury or property damage, read and understand owner's manual before operating. Risk of explosion. Do not exceed the MAX working pressure. Wear the proper protective equipment including ANSI Z87.1 safety goggles. Do not point the nozzle or blow air at a person's face. Hold the hose while rewinding. Bleed gas pressure from system before servicing reel. Do not open the spring cover.
Before Each Use ⚠WARNING Ensure that reel is properly installed before connecting input and output hoses. Bleed gas pressure from system before servicing reel. Ensure that reel, hose, and equipment being service are properly grounded. Check the hose condition for wear or damage, and check the swivel fitting for leakage. Replace any worn, damaged, or leaking parts. Operating Instructions ⚠WARNING Risk of explosion. Do not exceed the MAX working pressure.
Failure If the spring doesn’t work well… Possible Cause Corrective Action Pull the hose from the reel and latch it at the desired length. Loosen the stopper bolts, and slide the stopper to a position close to the hose guide. Tighten stopper bolts, and unlatch the reel. The spring tension needs to be adjusted.
