Make sure there is plenty of silicone
between the wall and panel around
the valve and shower head prior to
applying the escutcheon plates.
Use the color coordinating silicone
caulk to ll all the joints between
panels, trim pieces, design strips and
soap dishes not only for hiding the
seams & joints but for locking out the
water as well.
Lightly spray denatured alcohol on top
of silicone caulk bead to clean excess
as this will eliminate the silicone
caulk from sticking to the panels and
components.
Maintenance & Care
Information:
Your SoterraSlate products have been
treated with a high performance Sealer/
Enhancer to insure years of protection
and satisfaction. To help preserve
the life of the Sealer/Enhancer and
because the SoterraSlate is a low
maintenance product, harsh everyday
cleaners and abrasive cleaners are not
recommended or necessary for routine
maintenance.
For routine cleaning, use the
Aqua Mix “Marble, Travertine,
Limestone & Slate Cleaner &
Resealer”. Use of common shower
cleaning products, abrasives and
spray-on cleaners may damage the
Sealer/Enhancer and or the Slate and
will void the warranty.
