In some cases, rounded or design cuts will be required to

complete your project. When a tight curve or other design cuts

are necessary, use the Husky scissors or a razor knife.

Some acrylic shower bases and bathtubs will have a rounded

edge. If it is too large to ll the radius with silicone you will need

to template the prole.

Trace the curves to be cut onto the slate and go back to your

grade school skills of cutting patterns.

Use scissors or a razor knife to cut the slate in small areas or

trimming a panel to t. For cutting long straight lines use the

handheld saw or table saw mentioned in “How to cut Panels”.
