Granite Square Fire Pit Kit Installation Instructions
Step 2: Install first course of block. Start at a corner and lay
out the blocks going in both directions to form a square. The
21” fire pit kit will have 12 blocks per course, the 30” fire pit
kit will have 16 blocks per course. If needed, use a framers
square at the corners to set the fire pit square. Level the
blocks from front to back and side to side. Blocks may need to
be shifted slightly in order to get a tight fit between all the
blocks on the first course.
Step 3: Install second course of blocks. Place a block on top
of the bottom corner block staggering the intersection of two
blocks on the course below. Continue around the fire pit
making slight adjustments as needed so that the edge of the
blocks fit together. When the 2
nd
course is in place, remove
the blocks one at a time and adhere each block to the blocks
below using quarter sized dabs of a quality construction
adhesive.
Step 1:Level the pad. Level an area of gravel or rock on
compacted soil that is approximately 40” X 40” for the 21”
Square Fire Pit Kit or 49” X 49” for the 30” Fire Pit Kit. The
leveling pad will be approximately 6” larger than the fire pit
kit.
Step 4: Install the remaining 7 rows. Place the blocks in the
same manner as Step 2 for each row staggering the joints of
the blocks below. After making any adjustments to each row,
remove one block at a time and glue to the two blocks below
using a quarter sized dabs of construction adhesive.
Installation is complete – Enjoy!
Important Product Information
The granite blocks are natural aggregates so color variation is normal. Keep the fire
inside of the fire pit as the granite can become hot to the touch. For more
