Instructions / Assembly
Stains may be removed with mild soap solution and damp cloth.
Children should not climb or jump on furniture.
Dust and pick up spills using a clean, non-colored, lint-free cloth.
Care Tips
Before placing cushions on your eucalyptus furniture, remove any dust from manufacturing by wiping the
furniture with a damp cloth. In order to protect your cushions, bring them inside before the furniture gets wet.
Eucalyptus contains oil that may be released following the first few rainfalls. Stains from eucalyptus oil are
not covered under warranty.
• Keep outdoor furniture covered during the winter months.
• Bird droppings can stain eucalyptus furniture quickly. Remove any droppings as soon as possible to
prevent stains.
• Never use a pressure washer to clean your teak furniture, as the pressure may damage the wood surface.
A garden hose will supply enough pressure to remove any stubborn dirt or grime.
Maintenance Tips
Remove cushions and pillows first before any maintenance.
• Scrub eucalyptus furniture with soap water and a clean, lint-free cloth in the direction of the grain, and then
rinse with water to remove stuck-on dirt.
• To remove stains, lightly sand away areas that are stained with fine-grit sandpaper.
• Sand lightly once a year to remove any dullness that occurs due to exposure to the elements. Only sand
lightly to smooth out unevenness and splintered wood.(do not sand through the weathered silver look of the
wood to expose the natural color).
• Do not apply any furniture oil in direct sunlight.
• Always test a small area under the furniture before finishing any piece or set with any oils, sealants or finishes.
• Select wood oil designed for eucalyptus. Apply it to the furniture with a soft cloth once a year to help
maintain the wood's health and prolong the life of the furniture.
• Apply oil generously and wipe away excess oil with a dry cloth approximately 1 hour after application.
CAUTION: Always dispose of hardware oil soaked rags carefully and in a safe container due to fire concerns.
