How to use: This product is for household use only. GETTING STARTED • Remove all packing material and, if applicable, any stickers from the product; remove and save literature. • For additional information go to www.georgeforemancooking.com. • Go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty. • Wash plate in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Note: Although the plate is dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand washing to preserve its appearance.
USING YOUR SLIDER PLATE 1. Plug in the grill and press the power button to turn on. 2. Set temperature at 425º F and allow grill to preheat for at least 5 minutes. 3. Using a pot holder, carefully open the preheated grill. 4. Carefully place about 2 ounces of meat into each of the 6 cutouts on the slider plate. Note: Do not overload the cooking plate. 5. Close the grill cover. Important: Do not leave the appliance unattended during use. 6. Set the countdown timer on the top of the grill to 5 minutes.
CARE AND CLEANING CLEANING THE SLIDER PLATE 1. Before cleaning, unplug grill from wall outlet and allow to cool. Caution: Do not remove the plates while the appliance is hot. Always allow them to cool to room temperature before removing or cleaning. 2. To remove the plates, pull out on the release handles on plate sides and remove from the grill. 3. The plates and cool-touch handle can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand with hot, soapy water.
