CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
BREAKING THE GLASS:
1. If it is necessary to break glass, grip the safety hammer tool by the
handle, with the hammer head facing forward.
2. Cover your face and eyes with any available protective shield.
3. Strike the glass hard with the steel hammer tip. Avoid contact with
broken glass to prevent cutting yourself or others. Make sure the
opening is large enough for a safe exit (you may have to strike the
glass repeatedly).
CUTTING THE SEAT BELT:
1. Release the tightness of your
seatbelt as much as possible.
2. Hook the seatbelt into
the blade, and pull up/down,
continuing to pull as the blade
cuts through the belt.
THE MULTIFUNCTIONAL SAFETY HAMMER TOOL MUST BE FULLY CHARGED
BEFORE BEING USED FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT
THE BATTERY BE RECHARGED EVERY 3 MONTHS TO ENSURE MAXIMUM
PERFORMANCE.
The charging cable and DC charging adapter are for recharging the battery
only, they cannot be used to directly power the lights. Always ensure that all
the switches are in the OFF position while charging.
USING THE DC VEHICLE CHARGING ADAPTER
1. Unscrew the bottom of the Safety Hammer Tool by rotating the base
counter clock wise.
2. Plug the charging cable jack into the charging port on the bottom of the
unit next to the charging indicator LED.
3. Plug the DC adapter into the vehicles 12V DC cigarette lighter or accessory
power socket
4. Connect the charging Cable USB jack to the USB port on the DC charging
adapter.
5. The charging indicator light will glow RED while charging is in progress.
6. The battery will be fully charged after approximately 5 to 6 hours and the
RED charging indicator light will turn GREEN when the unit is fully charged.
7. Disconnect the DC vehicle charger from the safety hammer first and then
the other end from the 12V power outlet.
