This model has the potential to cause damage to property and/or individuals. Ensure that
you are sufficiently insured, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance. If you already have a
policy, check with your insurance company that use of this model is covered by the policy.
In some countries, you are required to have insurance when using any model aircraft.
4.4 Operating environment
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, steam
and solvents.
Protect the product from high humidity and moisture.
Protect the product from direct sunlight.
4.5 Before use
Choose a suitable room with enough space to operate your model. Keep the distance
between the model and walls or other objects as great as possible.
Check the model for damage before you fly. Pay attention to any visible damage, such
as broken rotor blades, defective plug connections or damaged cables. All moving parts
on the model should move freely but there must not be any slackness in the bearing.
Make sure that the flight battery of the model is fully charged.
Make sure that the batteries in the transmitter have sufficient remaining capacity (use a
battery tester). Replace them if needed.
Make sure that there are no other models that operate on the same frequency band
nearby to minimize interference.
4.6 During use
Do not take any risks during operation. Always use the model responsibly, otherwise you
could endanger yourself and your surroundings.
Improper use can cause serious injury and damage to property. Ensure that you main-
tain a sufficient distance from people, animals and objects.
Never touch the model during flight. Keep your body and hair away from rotating parts
such as rotors and gear wheels.
Only fly the model if you are fully alert and able to respond. Fatigue, alcohol and medica-
tion can affect your ability to respond.
Do not fly the model towards spectators or towards yourself.
The flight battery and other components can become hot during use and cause burns
when you touch them. Allow the model to cool down for 10 minutes before you remove
the flight battery or touch components.
Always leave the remote control (transmitter) switched on if the flight battery is connec-
ted to the model or if the model is switched on. Before you switch off the remote control,
disconnect the flight battery from the model or switch the model off if the flight battery
cannot be disconnected.
Do not expose the model or the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat for
prolonged periods.
In the event of a severe crash (example: from high altitude), the electronic gyro sensors
can become damaged. Carefully perform a function check at a low altitude before flying
at higher altitudes.
Rotating rotors can become damaged by contact with obstacles. Check the rotors for
signs of cracks or damage before flying the model again.
If the rotors are blocked, switch off the model immediately. Blocked rotors consume
much more power, which can destroy electric/electronic components.
A discharged flight battery can cause the model to crash. Carefully monitor the flight bat-
tery level during use and land the model before the flight battery is depleted.
4.7 Batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting batteries.
The batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time
to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns

batteries.
Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as
there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the
device can lead to battery leakage and device damage.
Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
4.8 Li-ion battery
Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable bat-
