Lay out design on
the ground with
marking paint,
string or a garden
hose.
Secure edging
with edge pins
along the entire
length every 3
feet.
Dig narrow trench
3 inches deep
using the marking
paint or string as a
guide.
Cut any excess
off using a metal
cutting wheel or
hacksaw.
Starting at one
end of the lay out
Install edging in
the trench over-
lapping ends 3
inches and secure
ends with edging
pin.
Backfi ll trench
along entire
length of edging
and install ground
cover.
