1. Submit manufacturer’s descriptive literature and product specifications for each product.
2. Manufacturer’s product drawings.
1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Products shall be free of defects in material and workmanship.
B. Furnished products are listed or classified by third party agencies as being suitable for the intended
purpose.
1.05 WARRANTY
A. Product is warranted free of defects in material and workmanship.
B. Product is warranted to perform the intended function within design limits.
PART 2 – PRODUCTS
2.01 GENERAL
A. The PVC or polycarbonate molded junction box shall be the E987 and E989 series.
B. The large non-metallic junction boxes shall be the EP series.

2.03 DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
A. PVC and polycarbonate molded junction boxes:
1. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall be made from PVC or Polycarbonate resin.
2. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall not rust.
3. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall have foam-in-place gasketed lids.
4. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall be provided with stainless steel lid screws.
5. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall be provided with integral mounting feet.
6. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall be acceptable for direct burial applications.
7. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall be UL Listed and CSA Certified.
8. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall have a minimum NEMA Type 4/4X rating..
9. Molded non-metallic junction boxes shall have a NEMA Type P6 rating up to and including
box size 6”X6”.
B. Large non-metallic junction boxes:
1. Large non-metallic junction boxes shall be fabricated from UL-94V-0 flame rated PVC sheet.
2. Large non-metallic junction boxes shall be NEMA Type 4X Rated.
