Manual

Flush Caps
Automatic ush caps operate by automatically ushing a small
amount of water each time the system is activated. Observe the
ush operation annually to ensure that ushing is occurring
properly.
The system must be ushed thoroughly after repairs or alterations
are made to the irrigation components. Automatic ush caps do
not allow enough water to pass through excessive debris and,
therefore, must be removed in order to eect a manual ush.
Manual ush caps should be ushed three times each irrigation
season for a period of 30 to 60 seconds or until the ush water is
visibly clean. More frequent ushing may be required under
extremely dirty water conditions. Flushing is also necessary any
time the system is repaired.
