Wall-to-Wall Installation Instructions (Indoor)

Sisal-Weave Roll Bar Carpeting

Step 1: Remove any old carpet and padding +

baseboard/trim, if present

This may require a utility knife, pliers, and a pry bar. Inspect the subfloor for any

damage or irregularities. If necessary, sand or level the subfloor to ensure a

smooth surface for the new carpet.

Step 2a: Cut new carpet to room size

Measure the room and cut the carpet to fit. Leave a few inches of excess on

each side to ensure a snug fit. See Step 2b (Page 2) if seaming is required.

quick and easy to install! Installation is much easier and simpler than

traditional wall-to-wall carpeting, so be sure to read all instructions

prior to beginning your project or making any cuts.

Example: the carpet is 12ft Wide and you ordered 4ft Length – you will cut with/parallel to the 4ft direction. DO NOT cut any seams parallel to the natural 12ft Width of the rug. Refer to diagram below.

Wall-to-Wall Installation Instructions (Indoor) Sisal-Weave Roll Bar Carpeting Step 3: Lay Carpet Glue – continued …lay one half of rug down over glue-covered subfloor Step 3b: Lay Carpet Glue – IF SEAMING IS REQUIRED Glue down all cuts of rug during Step 3. Neatly line up the edges during gluedown. A seaming roller will be used in Step 5 to erase any remaining indications of the seams.

Wall-to-Wall Installation Instructions (Indoor) Sisal-Weave Roll Bar Carpeting Step 4: Press carpet down & allow glue to dry 1 hour Once you have laid all of your carpet down onto the glue, press the carpet down into the glue firmly, ensuring to smooth the carpet all the way to the walls and edges. Let the glue rest for 1 hour before moving on to next steps.
