Method!1:!The*adhesive*on*the*back*side*of*the*Natural*Stone*Coverings*real*thin*ston e*panels*are*engineered*to*
stick*to*flat,*primed,*smooth*walls.*

Allow*the*tiles*and*substrate*to*come*to*room*temperature*(65*to*98* degrees*Fahrenheit)* be fore *installation .*Use*a* he at*
gun* or* other*source*to* wa rm* the* tiles* and* substrate*if*necessary.* If*you*are*u sing* installatio n * M e t ho d * 1 ,* p ro pe r* wall*
preparation*is* required* so*the* Natural* Stone*Coverings’*panel* can*be*installed*over*most*structurally*sound* substrates*if*
they*are*clean,*flat,*smo o th,*dry,*an d*fre e*of*d ust,*w ax,*soa p*sc um *an d*gre ase .***

Acceptable*substrates*a re*d ryw a ll,*plaste r*or*c lean ,*sm o oth *tile*(g lazed ,*po rce lain*ty pe *tile;*no t*p oro us*or*tex ture d).*A ny*
damaged,* loose* or* uneven* areas* must* be* repaired,* patched,* leveled* and* primed.* Fill* cracks* and* irregularities* with*
wallboard*compound*or*spackling,*then*sand*smooth*with*fine*grade*sandpaper.**The*substrate*to*which*you*are*applying*
Real*Thin*stone*panels*must*be*primed*with*a*fresh*coat*of*latex*or*oil-based*primer.*Ingredients*in*“pa in t*&*primer*in *
one”*products*can*cause* adhesion*failure;* as*such,*be*sure*to*use*a*stand-alone*primer.*See*below*for*Method*2*if*you*
