SANTA’S EXPRESS

INSTRUCTION MANUAL
1. DESCRIPTION
Thank you for purchasing the SANTA’S EXPRESS. This product features a train with animated figures and a smoke-billowing smokestack accompanied by 20
Christmas carols. The gift box includes the unit, a bottle of propylene glycol for the smoke effect, an adaptor and a TRY ME battery pack for in-store
demonstration only. Mr. Christmas makes no guarantee as to the demonstration battery life. This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.
PROPYLENE GLYCOL IS NOT INTENDED FOR HUMAN COMSUMPTION. AVOID CONTACT WITH THE EYES OR SKIN. IF CONTACT OCCURS,
RINSE THE AREA THOROUGHLY WITH WATER.
2. OPERATION
A. Gently lift the unit from the packaging and remove it from the polybag. DO NOT LIFT THE UNIT BY HOLDING ANY ATTACHED FIGURES OR
PARTS. LIFT FROM BASE ONLY.
B. Place the unit on any flat surface.
C. Remove the Try Me battery pack attachment. This battery pack is for in-store demonstration use only and is not intended for home use.
D. Insert the adapter plug into the unit jack at the rear of the unit. Plug the adapter into a nearby working outlet. The adapter is intended to be correctly oriented
in a vertical or floor mount position.
E. For smoke effect, remove the black plug from the cavity next to the bell (circled below left) and insert a couple of drops of the propylene glycol (included.)
Do not add more than 1-2 drops of propylene glycol to the smokestack to produce the desired effect.
F. Turn the VOLUME dial at the back of the unit from OFF to ON, lights will go on, music will play and the figures will begin to move. After a few seconds,
smoke will billow from the smokestack.
G. Turn the VOLUME dial to adjust the volume of the music. NOTE: WHEN THE VOLUME CONTROL IS AT ITS MINIMUM SETTING, NO MUSIC
CAN BE HEARD.
H. When the unit is ON, songs will play continuously. The first song is selected randomly each time the unit is turn ON.
I. Press the PUSH FOR NEW SONG button to hear a new song.
3. TROUBLESHOOTING
Your SANTA’S EXPRESS has been designed to provide many seasons of trouble-free operation. In the event that a problem does occur, please refer to the
following chart for suggested solutions.

No music, lights or motion
1. No power
1. Make sure the adapter is plugged into a working outlet
2. Make sure the adapter jack is securely attached to the back of the unit
2. Unit is OFF
Turn the VOLUME dial toward the MAX position
Music is not playing but there is motion
1. Pause between songs
Wait one or two seconds for the next song to start
2. VOLUME dial is LOW
Turn the VOLUME dial toward the MAX position
Music is playing but figures are not
moving
1. Power is interrupted
Turn power OFF and then ON again
2. Animation is obstructed
Turn power OFF and remove obstruction
