Taylors Perfection Camellia
Japonica Camellia x 'Taylor's Perfection'
The Taylor's Perfection Camellia is an unusual and exquisite addition to any mild temperature
landscape. Large light-pink semi-double blooms delicately decorate the forest green foliage of this
beautiful, winter-blooming shrub. This stunning evergreen reaches 8 ft. tall and wide and can be
easily trimmed and trained into formal shapes.
• Soft pink blooms
• Not guaranteed to be in bloom upon arrival
• Fertilize in spring with slow-release granular fertilizer
• Water frequently until established, then water as needed
• Plant in acidic to slightly acidic soil
• USDA hardiness zones: 8-10
• Partial shade with early or late direct sunlight is ideal
• Evergreen, foliage stays vibrant all year long
Planting Tips
• Water your Camellia thoroughly before starting
• Begin by digging the hole 2-x times larger than the root ball
• Remove the plant from the container and tease the root ball loosening the roots
• You want the top of the root ball to be slightly above the soil level(approx. 1/4-1/2 inch)
• Fill in around the plant with your mixture of well drained garden soil and organic matter of
choice
• Add mulch to help regulated moisture
• Water 2-3 times per week until established, then once a week as needed in dry conditions
• Fertilize with a well-balance fertilizer that is formulated for acid loving plants to keep your
Camellias well fed(Repeat annually or biannually)
