Getting Started, Use
Without fail, read and observe the section “Safety instructions”.
•
Plug the earthed mains plug of the outlet strip into a regular earthed mains socket (wall socket).
• Place the outlet strip in an appropriate place. Place the cables in such a way that nobody
can trip over them. Protect valuable furniture surfaces by using a suitable underlay to prevent
scratches.
• Connect the consumer loads to the sockets of the outlet strip.
If angle plugs are used, then these should be plugged into the sockets such that the
cables are not on the lever side.
This approach keeps the levers free and allows their effortless operation.
• The sockets are turned on or off by pressing the large, round on/off switch.
A LED in the on/off switch indicates whether the sockets are activated (LED lights
up) or not (LED is off).
• Using the lever of the unplug assist the plugs connected to the sockets can be easily un-
plugged.
Press the corresponding lever by hand, so as to pull out the plug in the relevant socket from
above and remove it without any great effort.
Caution!
Do not step on the lever of the unplug assist! Do not press the lever using any object!
Sudden application of force may not only damage the lever, but also the mechanics
in the outlet strip.
Operate the lever only by hand.
