Make sure the thread goes towards
the inside of the privacy room
Hold square in the same position
Place a mark at 2-3/8”
Move square down to the mark
Place a mark at
40 mm or 1 9/16” down
Place a mark at 2-3/8”
Use nail set for easy
drilling
Using the provided two
screws and washers, secure the handle
Make sure there are no sharp edges left
on screw heads
Loosen screw with provided wrench.
Using square tool, straighten up rosette
and tighten up the screw.
Drill two holes
using 5/16” drill bit
(8 mm)
Face of the door
Install Dummy Handle from the other side
Make sure to hold drill
perpendicular to the surface
40 mm or
1 9/16”
