Safety instructions
- The recommended temperature range lies between -10° C and +40° C.
- The rack must be protected against heat and open fire.
- The rack must be protected against humidity and not be expelled to direct sun light.
- This rack is a Double-Door-Rack where you can open the front panel and the rear panel. When mounting your devices into the rack,
please make sure that there is enough space around the device so that the heated air can be passed on.
- Especially when installing amplifiers or other heat-producing device like e.g. dimmer packs, a good air circulation of the rack has to be
assured. When installing such devices, a minimum distance of one unit (4.4 cm) should be kept above and below such devices.
Otherwise overheating can cause malfunction or damage. Furthermore, there is danger of fire due to overheating.
- Be careful when mounting the amplifier. Put the heaviest devices into the lower part of the rack.
- Devices with a weight over 10 kg must additional be fixed with rack rails in order to reduce the pressure on the front panel of the device
and to minimize movements during transportation. This support can be realized via a second rack rail and an installation angle. It is also
possible to support amplifiers on the rack floor - in this rack, the rack can only be transported upright.
- Always fix the amplifier with all four screws M6 in the rack.
- The interior of the rack is inflammable. Never insert hot, combustible objects or liquids into the rack.
- Racks with damages locks, handles or other parts must not be transported any more.
- When the devices in the rack are to be operated, all doors have to be opened and sufficient circulation needs to be ensured.
- Make sure that any venting slots of the installed devices are not covered and that the air can well circulate inside the rack. If the cooling
inside the rack is not sufficient and/or the device produces heat of more than 40° C, the device must not be operated in the rack.
- Devices in the rack must only be operated under adult guidance.
- Before closing the doors and/or transporting the rack, all devices operated before must have cooled down to ambient temperature and
be disconnected.
- The racks must be installed on a stable, plain area with sufficient carrying capacity.
- Holding and lowering the rack must be effected without force in order to minimize the strain on the rack and the handle.
- Any devices in the rack must be fixed in a way they cannot move during transportation.
- Open electric cabling in the rack is not allowed. Electric cabling must be effected in closed housings made of inflammable material.
- Every electric installation has to be carried out by a skilled person and be approved by an expert.
- If the rack has more than one handle, the rack must be transported by holding all handles with one or two persons in a balanced way.
- Racks must never been transported with cranes and must not be hanged.
- Rack tops not secured with locks - e.g. only closed with tape - have to be controlled for safe position and must not be lifted at the tops.
- Never stack heavy objects or racks on this rack. Persons must never climb onto this rack.
