Warranty Requirements • The terms of the Limited Warranty require strict compliance with the installation instructions.

Square Edge • Drip edges and grooves must be well covered. Shiplap Edge • All surfaces and cut edges must be painted in place. • For staining, use opaque acrylic latex stains only. Installation Errors That Void the Warranty • Do not apply siding to a rain soaked structure. • Do not apply siding that is wet. Wet siding can shrink after application and shrinkage is not covered by the TruWood warranty. FIG. 2 B. GAPS, CLEARANCES, AND CORNERS • Wet blown insulation is not allowed.

SHIPLAP AND SQUARE EDGE PANEL SIDING Product Guidelines Paneling Overlap Apply these panel siding products vertically on walls and gables that meet racking requirements. • Examine the framed structure to determine the positioning of the studs (16" o.c.) in relation to the exterior corners, windows and door openings. Plan for areas that do not allow installation of the full panel. • From your pre-selected starting position, place a panel square on the wall with the bottom edge level.
