Every person involved with the installation, operation and maintenance of this securing device has to:
- be qualilfied
- follow the instructions of this manual
Safety instructions
This safety-rope has left our premises in absolutely perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and
to ensure a safe operation, it is absolutely necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and
warning notes mentioned below.
Important:
Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to warranty. The dealer
will not accept liability for any resulting defects or problems.
Operating determinations
This safety-rope is used as protection against the fall of mobile items and is also allowed as "secondary
attachment".
The safety-rope is used in theatres, halls, schools, cabarets, bars and discotheques, film, radio and
television.
The safety-rope must never be used as attachment rope for general holding purposes.
Temperature range: -60° C to +100° C
Always close quick links correctly!
The carrying capacity of the safety-rope must always amount to at least 12 times the weight of the device (12
times the security!)
The maximum drop distance must never exceed 20 cm.
Do not pull the safety-rope over sharp edges!
Damaged or systems that are not closing any more or older than 10 years must not be used any more.
Keep this user manual for future use!
A safety-rope which already hold the strain of a crash or which is defective must not be used again.
Maintenance
Observe prescribed testing deadlines:
1. Once a year by an expert
2. Every four years by a skilled person
3. Before every use for breakage and function by the operator
