Installation and Connection
Without fail, read and observe the section “Safety instructions”.
• Install the power pack in a suitable place. Fastening the product is possible, e.g. with a
double-sided adhesive tape or cable ties (not included).
The power pack may be installed and used only in dry indoor rooms; it must not get
damp or wet. There is a life-threatening hazard through an electric shock!
Keep a suffi cient distance to heat-insulating material (at least 10 cm); otherwise the
power pack may overheat.
Never mount the power pack on easily fl ammable objects. Make sure you to keep a
suffi cient distance from highly fl ammable objects (e.g. curtains).
Keep suffi cient distance from heaters and protect the power pack also from direct
sunlight, heat, cold, dust and dirt.
• Connect the round low voltage plug to the light, type “Slimlite”.
• Connect the power pack to a standard mains socket using the mains cable enclosed.
• Fasten the mains cable and the low-voltage cable using e.g. cable ties. Protect all cables
from sharp edges or other damage.
Maintenance and Care
• The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason.
• Before cleaning the product, the power pack must be disconnected from the power supply.
• The outside of the product should only be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not use ag-
gressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing (discolouring)
or impair operation.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
