Pre-Installation (continued) SET UP 1 2 DOWNLOADING THE APP ACTIVATING THE SMART DOORBELL □□ Ensure your mobile device is running iOS 7.0 or above, or Android 4.0 or above. □□ Plug the chime (B) into an electrical outlet using the included AC adaptor (C). □□ Search the iTunes App Store or Google Play store for “Smart Doorbell.” □□ The LED light on top of the chime will blink blue, then will remain blue, indicating that the chime has detected WiFi and is ready to be set. □□ Download the free app.
Installation 61 72 ACTIVATING THE PUSH BUTTON BATTERIES SYNCING THE CHIME AND PUSH BUTTON □□ Press and release the learning button on the chime (B). The LED light on the chime will turn red. WARNING: THE PUSH BUTTON WILL NOT WORK IF THE TAB IS NOT REMOVED COMPLETELY. □□ Press and release the push button (A) to hear a 1-note tune. Press and release the push button again within 5 seconds to hear another tune. Continue pressing and releasing the button until you reach the desired tune.
Operation 1 2 MANAGING ALERTS □□ Each time the push button (A) rings, the app will alert your mobile device. □□ Download the free app on the device. □□ Under the “Add Device” page, select “Manually Add Device.” □□ Touch “Accept” on the alert to alert additional mobile devices that you’ve opened the door. Touch “Ignore” to turn off the alert on your mobile device, but not others.
