ALLGEMEINE INFORMATIONEN
Dieser Große Reihenfilter mit Sichtglas verhindert, dass die Pumpe durch kleine
Schmutzpartikel oder Schwebstoffe beschädigt wird. Das Metall-Sieb fängt die
Schmutzpartikel ab. Der Filter wird an einer beliebigen gut zugänglichen Stelle
zwischen dem Wassertank und der Pumpe installiert. Der durchsichtige Korb
lässt erkennen, wann eine Reinigung nötig ist. Bei korrekter Installation sind
keine Werkzeuge zum Öffnen erforderlich; der Filterkorb lässt sich einfach von
Hand abschrauben.
ACHTUNG: Im Marine-Einsatzbereich den Filter nicht unterhalb der
Wasseroberfläche installieren
Garantie: Gesetzliche Gewährleistungspflicht von 2 Jahren
INSTALLATION
1. Ventil schließen oder den Wassertank leeren; den Wasserhahn
öffnen, damit das restliche Wasser abfließen kann; die Pumpe
ausschalten; jetzt ist fast kein Wasser mehr auf der Ansaugseite der
Pumpe; mit einer Schüssel das restliche Wasser auffangen.
HINWEIS: alle anderen elektrischen Geräte in der Nähe müssen
ausgeschaltet sein, um einen Stromschlag zu vermeiden.
2. Den Siebfilter mit passenden Tüllen in Reihe installieren. Der Filter
sollte mit flexiblen Rohren verbunden werden, damit Vibrationen und
Geräusche verhindert werden. Sichern Sie die Rohrverbindungen mit
rostfreien Schellen.
ACHTUNG: Vibrationen, die durch starre Rohre hervorgerufen
werden, können den Filter beschädigen. Benutzen sie deshalb
flexible Rohre. Schmieren Sie die O-Ringe vor der Installation.
3. Überprüfen Sie, ob der Korb fest angeschraubt ist. Öffnen Sie das
Ventil und schalten Sie die Pumpe und alle anderen Elektrogeräte
wieder ein. Öffnen Sie den Hahn und nehmen Sie die Pumpe in
Betrieb, dabei werden eventuell vorhandene Lufteinschlüsse
abgeführt. Überprüfen Sie, ob der Filter und die Verbindungen dicht
sind.
REINIGUNG
1. siehe Punkt 1. Installation
2. Der Filterkorb mit dem Sieb kann zur Reinigung abgeschraubt
werden, ohne den Filter auszubauen.
Schrauben Sie den Korb entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn ab; halten Sie
dabei den Deckel fest.
3. Reinigen Sie das Sieb unter fließendem Wasser.
4. Setzen Sie das gereinigte Sieb wieder in den Korb. Achten Sie
darauf, dass der O-Ring sauber und geschmiert ist und richtig sitzt,
damit eine vollständige Dichtung gewährleistet ist.
5. Schrauben Sie den Filterkorb im Uhrzeigersinn wieder an den
Deckel.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This In-line-Strainer prevents damage to the pump by trapping small particles
and debris. It can be installed in any convenient, easy to inspect location
between the water supply (tank) and the pump. The strainers transparent
material allows for quick visual inspection for determining if the stainless steel
screen should be cleaned. When correctly installed, no tools are required to
open; hand disassembly is quick and simple due to the bowl screw feature.
CAUTION: For marine raw water applications, do not mount the strainer below
the water line.

INSTALLATION
1. close the valve or drain water source (tank) as necessary. Open a
faucet to relieve pressure within the line, and then switch OFF the
pump. This procedure will switch most of the water in the inlet
(suction) water line. Use a pan or bucket to collect any remaining
water. NOTE: Other electrical components in the vicinity shoul be
switched OFF to prevent electrical shock.
2. In order to reduce vibration and noise plumb the fittings on both sides
with flexible tubing. Securely clamp all tubing connections with
stainless steel clamps. CAUTION: Vibrations transmitted through
rigid pipe could cause the strainer to crack. Use flexible hose.
Lubricate O-rings before installing fittings
3. Check that the bowl is closed tight. Open the water source valve and
switch ON any power turned off previously. Open the faucet and
allow the pump to operate, purging the system of any trapped air.
Inspect strainer and connections for leaks.
STRAINER CLEANING
1. as point 1. Installation
2. Support the top cover while turning the bowl counterclockwise.
Remove bowl and screen from top cover
3. Clean the screen with clear water
4. Reinstall the screen in the bowl. Make sure O-ring is seated, clean
and lubed to asssure a positive seal.
5. Push bowl into top cover, then turn clockwise until closed tight.
6. Open the water source valve and switch ON any power turned off
previously. Open the faucet and allow the pump to operate, purging
the system of any trapped air. Inspect strainer and connections for
leaks.

INSTALLATION
1.Fermez la valve ou videz la citerne ; ouvriez le robinet pour se vider les touyaux ;
éteindrez la pompe. Attention : éteindrez tous les autres appareils électriques
pour éviter un accident électrique
2. Installez des tuyaux flexibles avec des connections appropriétes pour
éviter le bruit et le dommage. Securez les connections avec les colliers
inoxadables.
3. . Mettrez la pompe en marche ; controllez si le filtre et les connections sont drus
NETTOYAGE
1.Fermez la valve ou videz la citerne ; ouvriez le robinet pour se vider les touyaux ;
éteindrez la pompe.
Attention : éteindrez tous les autres appareils électriques pour éviter un accident
électrique
2. Demontez le crépine, retirez la grille et nettoyez avec l’eau
3. Reposez la grille dans la crépine et installez la grille dans le system
4. Mettrez la pompe en marche ; controllez si la crépine et les connections sont
drus
