f) Connecting the data cables
Data transfer takes place via the clamps XA and XB. Via the clamp XA, the board receives the
data from the previous board or from the control computer. Via the clamp XB, the data is
transferred to the next board.
The data output TXb of a relay board goes to the data input RXa of the subsequent board; the
data input RXb goes to the data output TXa of the subsequent board.
Now also connect the two GND clamps of the relay boards (see figure 1).
Jumpers:

1-2 Feedback, last relay board or single board
2-3 Transfer data, all other boards in the circuit
JP2 JP3
1-2 1-2 RS232 mode
2-3 2-3 USB mode
g) Connection of external modules
You can switch an external electric circuit with each of the eight relays. (See ill. 3).

Item no. 197730: Relay load 230V/AC, 16A or 24V/DC, 16A
NO = Normally open contact
NC = Normally closed contact
C = Common connection
