PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Utility Sand is produced from high-purity
industrial quartz for a use in a wide
variety of applications that require a
chemically inert, durable structural filler
such as floor overlays, finish coat stucco,
and sports turf. With consistently uniform
grain shapes and particle distribution,
this basic building material offers
excellent compaction, placement, and
mechanical properties. The high silica
content is combined with low level
soluble ions, alkalis, and alkaline oxides
to provide non-reactive service in most
corrosive and exposed environments.
