INSTRUCTIONS
4 WHEEL SOFT CLOSE RETAIL
Minimum door width 24”(60.96cm)
(for soft Close and Soft Open minimum door width 28”(71.12cm))
For NEW Pocket Frame installation - Use 1 set of 4-wheel hangers & door plates provided with the Pocket Frame and
use the Soft closer Dampener unit included in this kit. After installing this kit continue with Pocket hardware instructions.
If upgrading and EXISTING Frame – Remove the existing leading edge, 4-wheel hanger, and use the Soft Close
Dampener to replace that hanger.
1 Install door plates 2-1/4” in from door edge
2 Install 4 Wheel Ball Bearing roller into track and then Install the Soft Close Dampener with the 2 IDLE Wheel end
first and rotate the 4-wheel end into the track and engage the hanger to the door Plate.
(Alternate two wheels on opposite sides of track)
NOTE: Before putting Dampener into the track make sure the Dampener
Latch is ENGAGED by pushing it towards the 4-wheel end of unit, until Engaged.
3 Move door, into wall of Pocket frame. (Double Check to Make sure no track screws are interfering with the
Soft close Dampener trigger). Install the Activating arm stop into the track 1-5/8” from the jamb at the end of
the track by hand. Be sure that arm is in the center of the track. Now slowly close the door to the jamb. Adjust
Activating arm if needed to allow door to touch Jamb.
