The purpose of the upper shell, which is slightly
longer, is to protect the radiator thermostat against
any attempts to twist it off. It is long enough to make
contact with the valve when the connection is rotated. The
alignment of the upper shell is determined by the position
of the pipe outlets on the valve. When aligning the upper
shell, make sure that you leave enough room to insert the
screws into the theft protection device. The nuts can be
inserted into both the long upper shell and the lower shell.
Compatibility
The theft protection device can be mounted on virtually all
radiators without restriction. This is also true of energy-
saving thermostats, which are mounted with an adapter.
There are a small number of exceptions to this rule, whe-
re the valve body is too thick. This can mean that the twist

Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig, bevor Sie die Mon-
tage beginnen. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung zum späteren
Nachschlagen auf!
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Diebstahlschutz verhindert die einfache Demontage
und Stehlen Ihres elektronischen Heizungsreglers.
Der beiliegende Stützring kann die Stabilität erhöhen, wenn
der elektronische Heizkörperthermostat an einem Ventil-
anschluss montiert ist.
Lieferumfang
(1) Oberschale, (1) Unterschale, (2) M3-Innensechskant-
schrauben, (2) Muttern, (1) Sechskantschlüssel, (1) Stütz-
ring

• Legen Sie den
Stützring (A) in den
Flansch oder auf den
Ventilanschluss des
Heizkörpers. Ist der
Ventilanschluss zu
groß und kann der
Stützring nicht auf-
gesteckt werden, ist
die Stabilität aus-
reichend und der
Stützring wird nicht
benötigt.
• Installieren Sie nun
Ihren Heizkörper-
thermostat gemäß
Anleitung am Heiz-
körperventil.
• Ober- (B) und Unter-
schale (C) des Diebstahlschutzes auf die Überwurfmutter
stecken und einrasten lassen. Die Stege (D) der Schalen
müssen in die Zwischenräume des Flansches greifen.
• M3-Innensechskantschrauben einführen (E) und an der
Gegenseite mit Muttern befestigen.

Die etwas längere Oberschale hat die Aufgabe,
das Abdrehen des Heizkörperthermostats zu ver-
hindern. Sie ist so lang, dass sie beim Drehen des
Anschlusses gegen das Ventil stößt. Die Ausrichtung der
Oberschale ist von der Lage der Rohrabgänge des Ventils
abhängig. Bei der Ausrichtung sollte darauf geachtet wer-
den, dass noch ausreichend Platz vorhanden ist, um die
Schrauben in den Diebstahlschutz stecken. Die Muttern
lassen sich sowohl in der langen Oberschale, als auch in
der Unterschale einlegen.
Kompatibilität
Bei fast allen Heizkörpern ist eine Montage des Diebstahl-
schutzes uneingeschränkt möglich. Dies gilt ebenfalls für
Energiesparregler, die mit einem Adapter montiert werden.
Bei einigen Ausnahmen ist der Ventilkörper zu dick. Dies

theft protection device. Keep the manual so you can refer
to it at a later date if you need to.
Intended use
The theft protection device stops your electronic thermo-
stat from being removed and stolen.
The support ring supplied with the thermostat can increa-
se stability if the electronic radiator thermostat is mounted
on a valve connection.
