Insert bar hangers into the
slots on
the
plaster
frame
(drawingl).
Position bar hangers
so that nail in
tabs
point
away irom housing or
point
down to ceiling.

Junction box contains two wires. A

white(neutrair.
Which must
be soliced to the
house currentfeed wires.

sure to splice white to white
and
colored or black to
black.

with nails. Hangers

be level with
bottom of
joists.

Secure fixture to T-bars with wire
splices carefully into
junction
box and replace cover(drawing 4)
Grounding
For
Romex or 3 wire BX. Fiexible Armour cable installations.attach
supply

lead(green)to
bare copper

ground
screw
in
wiring box mounted on
plaster
frame.
Local electrical codes should be consulted to determine acceotable
installation-conduit
Romex, or flexible Armour cable.

CUTTING A HOLE
Locate the center of
proposed
opening on
your
tile or ceiling
material and mark it.
Rounds: Use a comoassto

point.
Cut along this circular
