STEP 5: _________________________________________________________________________________________

Place Runner E onto tenons on the bottom of the back and

Front post. Note: There are pre-drilled holes in the side of

the Runners E for the Nails that are provided. These pre-

drilled holes should face to the inside of the rocker. Once

aligned tap the runner fully onto the tenons. Fig. 14

STEP 5:____________________________________________________ _____________ _______________________

Place the Nail in the pre-drilled hole on the inside of the

Runner E and tap in with a hammer. It is not recommended

that you use any type of glue in the Runner E. The rocker is

designed for use on a covered porch but even then can be

exposed dampness that can over time penetrate the runner.

By not gluing the runner it makes it easier should they ever

need replacement. Fig. 15
