OPERATION
• Youandotherswithyoushouldalwayswearshootingglassesto
protect your eyes.
• AlwaysaimyourairpistolinaSAFEDIRECTION.Whenyouaresure
of your target and backstop, and the area around the target is clear,
take“OFFSAFE”(
See Airgun’s Instructions
)andsqueezethetrigger
to fire.
• Donotshootathardsurfacesorthesurfaceofwater.Projectilesmay
bounce off or ricochet and hit someone or something you had not
intended to hit.
• Donotshootatfragilesurfacessuchasglassormirrors.
• Alwayschooseyourtargetcarefully.Onlytargetswhichcannotbe
completely penetrated or which will not cause ricochets should be used.
• Yourbackstopshouldbecheckedforwearbeforeandaftereach
use. Replace your backstop if the surface is worn or damaged, or if a
ricochet occurs.
• Theairpistoliscorrectlyaimedwhenthefrontsightbladeispositioned
exactlyinthenotchandevenwiththerearsight.Thetopofthefront
sight blade should be even with the top of the notch in the rear sight.
The bullseye should appear to rest on the top of the front sight (See
illustration 21).
6. Aiming and Firing Safely

YOUR BACKSTOP SHOULD BE INSPECTED FOR WEAR BEFORE AND AFTER EACH USE.
DISCONTINUE USE IF THE BACKSTOP SURFACE SHOWS SIGNS OF FAILURE. ALWAYS
PLACE THE BACKSTOP IN A LOCATION THAT WILL BE SAFE SHOULD THE BACKSTOP FAIL.
DISCONTINUE THE USE OF A BACKSTOP IF THE PROJECTILE REBOUNDS OR RICOCHETS.
