1. Learning the Parts of Your Airgun
CAUTION: Failure to follow the instructions and recommendations in this owner's
manual may result in bodily injury including face, eye, and ear injury, blindness, or deafness.
CAUTION: Always point the muzzle in a safe direction. Never place your hand in
front of the muzzle.

OPERATION
WARNING:
BE SURE THE AIRGUN IS ALWAYS POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.
NEVER POINT THE AIRGUN AT ANY PET OR PERSON EVEN IF IT IS UNLOADED. ALWAYS
ASSUME AND HANDLE THE AIRGUN AS IF IT WERE LOADED AND READY TO FIRE.
2B. To Take the Umarex EBOS “OFF SAFE”
• Locate the safety on the left side of the airgun.
• Push rearward (toward “F”) (illustration 2B).
When you see the RED the airgun is “OFF SAFE”
and can be red.
2A. To Put the Umarex EBOS “ON SAFE”
• Locate the safety on the left side of the airgun.
• Push forward (toward “S”) until no red is showing.
(illustration 2A). The safety is not “ON SAFE”
unless it is pushed all the way towards the
muzzle and the RED is NOT showing.
2. Operating the Safety
CAUTION: Like all mechanical devices, an airgun safety can fail. Even when the
safety is “ON SAFE”, you should continue to handle the airgun safely. NEVER point the airgun
at anything you do not intend to shoot.

3. Removing and Installing Batteries
3A. Installing New Batteries
• Put the airgun “ON SAFE” (See Step 2A).
• Open the battery cover, located on the bottom
of the grip, by sliding it towards the muzzle and
then pulling downward (illustration 3).
• Insert 6 AA batteries into the battery compartment
(illustration 4).
• Close the battery cover. (illustration 5)
3B. Removing Batteries
• Put the airgun “ON SAFE.” (See Step 2A)
• Open the battery cover, located on the bottom
of the grip, by sliding it towards the muzzle and
then pulling downward (see Step 3A).
• Remove the batteries.
NOTE: Do not store your airgun with batteries in it. The
batteries can leak or corrode and cause damage to your
airgun. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste.
