Saving a telephone number

You can save as many telephone numbers as memory will allow—up to
9,500 total characters for telephone numbers and memos.

1. Press the directory key (hold
down the key and press
the key).
2. Type a name and press the
key. Names can be up
to 8 letters, numbers, or
spaces, but must start with
a letter.
The name is displayed with
space for a number.
3. Type the number.
4. Press the key when you
finish.
