4. Press the key to move to the next menu option.

CARRIER is displayed. If you wish to specify a long distance

provider, you may fill in the carrier-of-choice option. To do

this, contact your TRS for the code for your preferred long

distance provider. Type this code and press .

If you do not wish to specify a long distance provider, press the

key. USER ID is displayed.

Note: You may also override any preset carrier-of-choice

setting on a call-by-call basis by following the steps in Selecting

a carrier of choice on page 20.

5. Leave the USER ID setting blank unless told otherwise by

your TRS. Press the key to exit this menu.

Controlling the speed of text with E-Turbo

When connected in E-Turbo, you may adjust the speed that the

Supercom 4400 displays text. If you prefer the words to be

displayed slower, hold down the key and press the key. If

you want the words to be displayed faster, hold down the key

and press the key.

The default setting at which E-Turbo displays text is the fastest

speed. You can decrease the speed by four levels.
