Dialing Prefix
The EZcom Pro allows you to save a dialing prefix, which can be
used to obtain an outside line in an office setting. For example, in
some office settings, you must dial the prefix “9” to obtain an
outside line before you can make a call.
When you save a dialing prefix, the EZcom Pro automatically dials
the prefix before each telephone number that you have saved in the
directory. The dialing prefix will also be used before Relay calls.
If you need to move the EZcom Pro to a different telephone system,
simply save the new dialing prefix rather than reprogramming all
the telephone numbers saved in the directory. To save a dialing
prefix, do the following:
1. Press the key to turn on the EZcom Pro.
2. Press the key.
3. Press the key to scroll to Options and press the key
to select Options.
4. Press the key to scroll to Dialing Prefix and press the
key to select Dialing Prefix.
5. Type the dialing prefix. Use the or key to move the text
cursor and the key to correct any typing errors.
6. Press the key to save the dialing prefix. You will see
DIALING PREFIX SAVED on the display screen.
7. Press the key when you are finished.
