Deleting a name from the directory

Deleting a directory entry removes the name and the telephone

number from the EZcom Pro memory. To delete an entry, do the

following:

1. Press the key to turn on the EZcom Pro.

2. Press the key and press the key to scroll to Dialing

Directory.

3. Press the key to select Dialing Directory.

4. Type the person’s entry name or use the or key to scroll

through the directory. After you find the name, press the

key to select the entry name.

5. Press the key to move the brackets to Delete and press the

key to select Delete.

The EZcom Pro will ask if you are sure that you want to delete

the directory entry.

6. Press the key to delete the directory entry. You will see the

person’s name with **DELETED** under it on the display

screen.

Or, press the key to keep the directory entry.

7. Repeat steps 4-6 to delete more directory entries.

Press the key when you are finished deleting entries.
