Editing a name in the directory

Editing allows you to change the name or the telephone number of

a directory entry. To edit an entry, do the following:

1. Press the key to turn on the EZcom Pro.

2. Press the key and press the key to scroll to Dialing

Directory.

3. Press the key to select Dialing Directory.

4. Type the person’s name or use the or key to scroll

through the directory. After you find the name, press the

key to select the entry name.

5. Make sure that the brackets are around Edit and press the

key to select Edit.

6. Type a new entry name and press the key. To keep the

same entry name, press the key and continue editing.

7. Type the new telephone number and press the key.

To keep the same telephone number, press the key and

continue.

You will see DIRECTORY ENTRY SAVED appear on the display

screen.

8. Repeat steps 4-7 to edit more dialing directory entries.

Press the key when you are finished editing entries.
