Plugging in the telephone line
The EZcom Pro uses a standard analog telephone line with either
tone or pulse dialing. This type of line is commonly used in
households. If you plan to use the EZcom Pro in an office that has a
digital telephone system, a digital-to-analog converter must be used
to allow the EZcom Pro to work. Contact your telephone company
to ensure that your digital telephone system will support an analog
line or the use of a digital-to-analog converter.
An analog telephone line is the same kind of line that is used in an
office environment for many fax machines or computer modems.
CAUTION! Plugging the EZcom Pro into a digital telephone line
without the digital-to-analog converter may damage your telephone
system or the EZcom Pro and will void your warranty.
Installing the batteries
The EZcom Pro uses four AA alkaline batteries.
