STEP 1 Preparing Door Check the door’s dimensions. 13/8”~ 13/4” (35 mm-44mm) Step 1: Measure to confirm that the door is between 13/8”~ 13/4” (35 mm-44mm) thick. 2 3/4” (70 mm) OR 2 3/8”(60 mm) Step 2: Measure to confirm that the hole in the door is 2 1/8”(53 mm) . Step 3: 2 1/8” Measure to confirm that the backset is either 2 3/8”~ 2 3/4”(60mm-70mm) . 53 mm 2 1/8”(53 mm) Step 4: Measure to confirm that the hole in the door edge is 1” (25 mm) .
STEP 2 Preparing Lock If your door thickness is over 1.65”(42mm), please install this spring. Interior Spring ×1 Before installing the lock on the door 1. Slide the battery cover up and out (note the two tabs at the bottom of the battery cover). 2. Remove the inside mounting plate (with gasket) from the back (door side) of the interior assembly.
STEP 3 Installing Latch and Strike 1. Install the latch on the door. Make sure the latch angle faces the door jamb. 2. Install the strike on the door frame, ensuring you allow for the bolt to be centered in the strike.
STEP 4 Install the exterior assembly 1. Install the exterior assembly. 2. Make sure the triangle is facing upwards as illustrated. 3. Route the cable above the bolt and through hole stated below.
STEP 5 Installing Interior Mounting Plate 1. Install the interior mounting plate. 2. Secure it to the exterior assembly using screws B.
STEP 6 Plug In The Spindle Plug in the spindle Spindle -8-
STEP 7 Installing Interior Assembly 1. Attach the cable to the connector on the interior assembly by lining up notches on the cable to the slots on the connector. Press the connector in firmly using your thumbs until it is completely seated. 2. Secure the interior assembly using screws.
STEP 8 Installing Batteries 1. Insert 3 AA alkaline batteries. 2. Install the battery cover and tighten the screw.
STEP 9 Installing the Handles 1. Place the handles onto the handle posts, the handle should point away from the door's edge. 2. With the handles placed on its position, insert the screwdriver into the hole of the handle, to secure them, turn the screwdriver counterclockwise. Then turn the handle down, the movement of the latch should be smooth, if the operation is not smooth, review the previous steps to ensure proper installation.

PASO 1 Preparando la puerta Tome las dimensiones. 13/8”~ 13/4” (35 mm-44mm) Paso 1: Mida para con rmar que la puerta tiene un ancho de 35mm-44mm. 2 3/4” (70 mm) OR 2 3/8”(60 mm) Paso 2: Mida para con rmar que el agujero donde va colocada la cerradura tenga 53mm de diámetro. Paso 3: 2 1/8” Mida para con rmar que la entrada de la cerradura tiene un ancho de 60mm o 70mm. 53 mm 2 1/8”(53 mm) Paso 4: Mida para con rmar que el agujero en el borde de la puerta tiene 25mm.
PASO 2 Preparando la cerradura Por favor instale este resorte. Interior Resorte ×1 Antes de instalar la cerradura en la puerta 1. Deslice la tapa de las baterías hacia arriba y hacia afuera (note las dos barras en la parte inferior de la tapa). 2. Retirar la placa interior de montaje (con la plantilla de goma) de la parte posterior (costado de la puerta) de la unidad interior.
PASO 3 Instalando el pestillo y el contramarco. 1. Instale el pestillo en la puerta. Tenga en cuenta que el ángulo del mismo enfrente al marco. 2. Instale el contramarco en el borde de la puerta, teniendo en cuenta que el perno esté centrado en el mismo.
PASO 4 Instalando la placa exterior 1. Coloque la placa exterior. 2. Asegúrese de que el triángulo está hacia arriba como la ilustración. 3. Pase el cable por el agujero indicado abajo.
PASO 5 Instalando la placa interior 1. Coloque la placa de montado interior 2.

PASO 7 Instalación de la unidad interior 1. Conecte el cable al conector de la unidad interior, alineando las muescas en las ranuras. Presione firmemente con los pulgares hasta que encaje completamente. 2. Asegure la conexión usando tornillos.
PASO 8 Instalando las baterías 1. Coloque tres baterías alcalinas AA. 2. Instale la tapa y asegúrela con el tornillo E.
PASO 9 Instalando las manijas 1. Coloque las manijas en los postes de la manija, la manija debe apuntar lejos del borde de la puerta. 2. Con las manijas colocadas en su posición, inserte el destornillador en el orificio de la manija, para asegurarlos, gire el destornillador en sentido contrario de las manecillas del reloj. Luego gire la manija hacia abajo, el movimiento del pestillo debe ser suave, si la operación no es suave, revise los pasos anteriores para garantizar una instalación adecuada.
