Intended Use This unique truck rack transports anything from construction materials and ladders to kayaks and more! Important Safety Considerations DO NOT modify the product in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or safety and could affect the life of the product. There are specific applications for which the product was designed. Use the right tool for the job. DO NOT attempt to force a small equipment to do the work of larger industrial equipment. There are certain applications for which this equipment was designed.
RACK USE AND CARE Do not over fill the rack. Racks do a better and safer job when used in the manner for which they are designed. Plan your work, and do not overload. Check for damaged parts before each use. Carefully check that the rack will operate properly and perform its intended function. Replace damaged or worn parts immediately. Never load the rack with a damaged part. Do not let children play with or around the rack. It is not a toy.
Assembly In order to properly assemble the rack you first need to determine if the rack will be installed on a LONG BED or SHORT BED truck. Assembly Recommended Tools: Open Wrench(1pc) Open Wrench(2pc) Open Wrench(2pc) Size=17mm Size=18mm Size=24mm Step 1 – Refer to Fig.1 Slide Cross Bar (2) onto Front Side Bar (1) 1 12 Fig.1 2 Step 2 – Refer to Fig.2 Secure Cross Bar (2) with Bolt Set B. Attach ends of Cab Bar (12) to Front Side Bar (1). Secure with Bolt Set A.
Fig.2 Bolt Set A 2 12 can be moved Bolt Set B If you are assembling your Truck Rack for a short bed pick up rack move to Step 3a.If you are assembling your Truck Rack for a long bed pick up move to step 3b. Step 3a –LONG BED PICK UP TRUCKS –Refer to Fig.3 For Long truck beds, position Cross Bar B (3) behind the Upright Bars on the Front Side Bars (1) as shown in Fig.3a. Position Cross Bar (3) at the desired location on the Front Side Bars (1).
Step 3b – SHORT BED PICK UP TRUCKS –Refer to Fig. 3b For Short truck beds, position Cross Bar B (3) onto the Rear Side Bar (6) as shown in Fig.3b Attach Cross Bar B (3) to Rear Side Bar (6) with Bolt Set B. Put the Front Legs (4 and 5) next to Rear Side Bar (6). Attach the Front Legs (4 and 5) to the Rear Side Bar (6) with Bolt Set B. Attach Front Legs (4 and 5) to Cross Bar B (3) with Bolt Set C. Step 5 - Refer to Fig. 5 Position Rear Legs (7 and 8) near to Cross Bar C (9). Attach to the Rear Side Bar (6) by using Bolt Set B. Attach Cross Bar C (9) to Rear Legs (7 and 8) using two sets of Bolt Set C. Attach curved ends of Rear Side Bars (6) to Rear Legs (7 and 8) using Bolt Set E. Attach end caps with Bolt D. Step 6 - Refer to Fig. 6 Attach Rear Side Bars (6) to Front Side Bars (1). Secure with Connecting Plates (10) and Bolt Set F.
Step 7 - Refer to Fig. 7 Attach all Front Feet and Rear Feet (13 and14) to corresponding legs (4, 5, 7, 8). Make sure the foot lips face inside the truck bed. Attach with Bolt Sets G. Position the Feet (13 and 14) so that the lips are flush with the insides of the rails. Insert J-Hooks (11) up through the mounting tubes on each Foot, and secure with Bolt Set H from the top. Tighten the hardware until the J-Hooks (24) are holding the Feet tightly against the bed rail.
